1st General Meeting of Bhutia Development Board, Govt of West Bengal

Venue: Bhutia Development Board Branch office, Kalimpong.
Members present: Chairman, Vice –Chairman, Member Secretary and 25 Board Members .
1. Chairman of the BDB, Mr Palden Bhutia inaugurated the meeting by lighting a sacred lamp to seek divine blessings. He then extended greetings to all members of the Bhutia Development Board by offering Khadas.
2. The Chairman and the Vice Chairman expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Honourable Chief Minister, Madam Mamata Banerjee for sanctioning the Bhutia Development Board.
 3. Vice Chairman, Lt Col (Retd)Col Dadul R Bhotia welcomed the new Member secretary, Sri T T Bhutia, WBCS and introduced him to all members. The VC then acquainted the House about the activities of the Board, aims and objects of the Board, composition of General Body, composition of Executive Body, powers and duties of the General and Executive members as specified in The Kolkata Gazette ASVINA[5] dated October 7, 2015.
